Custom letterpress tags and business cards for Printsmith

The custom letterpress tags and business cards we made for Printsmith couldn’t have been a more enjoyable project for us! When i was writing about the business cards we made for BURNISH + BONE, i mentioned the fact that it was really an emotional journey for me. Well this time around, everything went along smoothly from the beginning to the end!

First of all, i really like the design of Printsmith’s logo and i instantly new it’d look wonderful letterpress printed! The card stock choice was also good. I usually like working with the sparkling bright white card stock, but this time Printsmith’s Dora chose the porcelain-white one and it was definitely the best choice.

Here are the short technical details for both the custom letterpress square cards and business cards for Printsmith:

– 450gsm China White card stock, one side printing, 9 x 5 cm, black ink for the business cards

– 450gsm China White card stock, one side printing, 7 x 7 cm, black ink for the custom letterpress cards / tags

FPS is currently working on: custom letterpress save the date cards… again!

May 18, 2015May 18, 2015 Andreea

Yep, it appears that FPS is very lucky when it comes to custom letterpress save the date cards. This time around, the cards i’ve designed according to our lovely client’s requests are just a bit trickier: there are two ink colors printed on 450gsm China White card stock and we also have a bit of die-cutting!

Well this last photo i wasn’t exactly supposed to post as i hate ruining surprises, but i still wanted to show juuust a bit of everything: two ink colors, die-cutting, China White card stock. Also, since this photo is taken with my phone i think it’s safe to say that it’s not ruining much of the surprise, right? These custom letterpress save the date cards are yet another project i’m really proud of.

Welcome to Funky Print Studio!

March 1, 2015 Andreea

Hello and welcome to Funky Print Studio! The time has finally come when i, Andreea, your personal customer service provider can wholeheartedly welcome you to our new letterpress shop and website.

It is definitely a turning point for us as we’ve been providing gift boxes and other paper supplies since April 2013 on our Funky Box Studio shop and now, 2 years later, we are extremely excited, happy, thrilled to be expanding into the letterpress printing world. We’ve definitely worked hard to get to this point, but it is such an accomplishment for us that it surely makes it worth it.

So what exactly do you do?, oh yes, i can hear your question there! We at Funky Print Studio offer letterpress printing services materialized in letterpress business cards, letterpress wedding invitations, simple flat cards or folded cards, coasters, tags, stationery etc. Our studio was born after careful consideration, out of love for printing, card stock and paper, colors and art. We had a huge interest in letterpress for a good chunk of time, but only recently decided to open a studio of our own. It is still far from what we have in mind as a final goal, but hey! we do have to begin at some point, right?

We sure hope our services will be put to good use and our letterpress printed items will help in leaving a lasting impression on your guests, your clients, yourself.
